A Letter From Gypsy

   Hi Everyone.......it's me Gypsy!

Me and my bother Tyler...he's a nice guy

I just love my new PARK OF THE DOGS!

Hello Lady,

It's me, Gypsy! My new mom is letting me use the laptop to type a letter to you. I want to let you know that I miss you and Jake and Mollz and the friendly kitties, but I am enjoying my new life with my new forever people. I'm very attached to my new mom, and I think she is pretty attached to me, too. I like the other people also, the man Niles and the grandparents in Wausau are all nice -- they give me treats and pets and stuff -- but new mom is the only one I listen to and the only one I will come into the house for. Sometimes new mom gets a little bit frustrated when I play games instead of entering the house right away, but she understands that doorways are kinda scary for me. She says that I am making progress and she is very proud when I do enter the house by myself!  I usually enter the house by myself in the morning, but later in the day I prefer to be escorted by leash through the door. Very rarely do I dig in and refuse to approach the house -- I save that technique for when we go to the store.

I'm still unsure about being at the store -- there are many strange, loud noises, but I'm getting used to that, too. I stay in my safe spot in a dog bed tucked in a corner behind the counter where new mom does most of her work. The customers like to talk about what a pretty girl I am! New mom says I only have to go the store two days each week. I'm glad about that because after a day at the store I like to have a day at home to rest and catch up on my sleep. A girl needs her beauty rest.

Last week new mom took me to the vet's office for a check up. I was a little nervous and climbed up onto new mom's lap while we were waiting. The doctor said that I am in good health, but found some yeast in my ears. You know what that means ... regular ear cleanings and ear drops. Not my favorite thing to do, but I tolerate it. At least my ears are feeling better now.

Sundays are my favorite days of the weeks. That is the day that we usually go to the PARK OF THE DOGS! I'm sending some pictures of our most recent adventure at the PARK OF THE DOGS. New mom said she was very proud of me at the park because I was much more responsive and better about returning to her when she called for me than the first time we went to the park. Only three times did she have to come put the leash on me and lead me away from a group of little dogs. I can't help it... I love the little dogs! I don't hurt the little dogs, I just want to play with them, but the problem is that I stop listening to new mom because I'm so excited!  New mom said that maybe someday you will come visit my new home and I can give Jake and Mollz and this new guy "Tuck" a tour of this PARK OF THE DOGS. I think that would be great fun!

Love,
Gypsy

PS: I'm very happy to hear that my friends Wasabi and Jessie found their forever homes. I hope that they are as happy in their new homes as I am in mine. I check on Bella and Polly every day, hoping that they also find new forever families
